This policy explains how Cocoz Online Private Limited ("we"), which runs MudyBudy, collects and uses your personal data when you use our app, website and services. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.
Data we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and, if you give it, email.
- Address details: society, tower, flat, floor, landmark and area.
- Order details: pickup slots, clothes counted, bills, payments, codes used to confirm pickup and delivery, and notes you add.
- Plan, offer and referral details.
- Device and usage data: device type, app version and basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
- Payment information is handled by our payment partner; we do not store your card or UPI PIN.
How we use it
- To create your account and sign you in with an OTP.
- To pick up, process and deliver your clothes, and show you your orders and bills.
- To send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp or notification (WhatsApp only if you opted in).
- To run offers, plans and referrals, prevent fraud and improve our service.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:
- Our riders and staff, to complete your orders.
- Service providers who help us run the service — hosting, SMS/WhatsApp messaging and payment processing — under confidentiality obligations.
- Government authorities when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices and payment records, usually for up to 8 years).
Your rights
- Access and correct your data from the app (Account → Edit profile, Saved addresses).
- Withdraw consent for WhatsApp updates at any time.
- Request deletion of your account from the app (Account → Request account deletion) or by contacting us.
- Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.
Security
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections and restricted staff access. No system is completely secure, so please keep your phone and OTPs private.
Children
Our service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children without a parent or guardian.
